With proper care, your cabinetry should provide a lifetime of use and satisfaction. Routine cleaning, with the appropriate materials, will help prevent long-term damage to your cabinet door and finish.
Use a clean cloth dampened with a solution of mild dish soap and water to remove oil, grease, food residue or daily spills. Use a soft cloth to promptly “blot” dry.
One of the worst enemies to any cabinet is prolonged exposure to moisture. This is mostly seen around the sink from excess water caused by hand washing dishes or basic food preparation. Water can pool and flow off the countertops down into the base cabinet doors and drawers.
For cabinets that last a lifetime, warm water or mild soapy water is the best cleanser.
